A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication used to relieve fever, pain, and inflammation.
Anaemia, decrease white blood cells, bruising, low platelet count, headache, dizziness, depression, confusion, drowsiness, seizures, fainting, high blood pressure, swelling, blurred vision, eye damage, decreased hearing, ringing in the ears, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, anorexia, ulcers, GI bleeding, kidney failure, blood in the urine, increased potassium levels and increased liver enzymes, itching, rash, and difficulty breathing.
Adults: oral, 25-50 mg two to four times a day.
Paediatrics: oral, 1.5-2.5 mg/kg body weight per day administered in three or four doses.
